Materials for 2003 and beyond
You can order the materials for Years 1 to 6 now.
For pupils…
For Year 1, there are five pupil workbooks (two for each of the first
two terms, and one for the summer term). For Year 2 there are six (two
for each term).
Year 3 has two workbooks (which introduce copy and complete exercises
systematically) and one textbook (used in the spring and summer terms).
Years 4 to 6 each have one reusable textbook.
From year 3 homework activities are provided as worksheets in the teachers'
manuals. The same activities are also available as workbooks, one for
each term.
For teachers…
There is a Teachers' Manual for each term. Manuals include virtually
everything you need in order to teach mathematics to your class. In addition
to detailed lesson-by-lesson materials there are games, worksheets and
card sets, most of which are photocopiable. Overhead transparencies are available from Year 2 onwards.
IPM Booster programmes
These are designed to address common difficulties. Most of the programmes
are for Year 1, but these and others may be used with older children.
They will be available in 2004.
