Almost all the materials for each year are contained on a set of CDs. Each CD contains all the teaching materials for one term. A detailed lesson plan including all core worksheets, visual resources, card sets and games is provided for each lesson throughout the term. Lessons for Years 1 to 4 last 45 minutes.
Teaching materials for Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 are sold as CDs in sets of three (one for each term) for each year group. Note: The CDs use Humanist521 BT, SassoonPrimaryInfant, Book Antiqua fonts. If you do not have these fonts please contact us for advice (see Contact Us page).
Additionally, for Year 1, a single workbook for the first few weeks is available. This provides extensive practice in the correct formation and writing of numerals. We have also produced an exercise book with pages printed with 12 mm squares, for use with younger pupils learning to write numerals correctly one in each square.
Teaching materials for Years 5 and 6 will become available after trialling.
Books of starter activities relating to each year group are also available for Years 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each IPM lesson begins with a plenary starter activity which is designed to be short, lively and oral and to include all children. Starter activity books for later years will become available as soon as possible.
