Original IPM

Products

The materials published in 2002 are used by about 25000 pupils in eight local authorities, including some in Scotland. These materials have been used successfully in schools for ten years, and we know that many teachers are committed to the teaching approach. The published materials include:

For pupils:

• Pupils in Year 1 and 2 use workbooks.
• Pupils in Year 3 have two workbooks, followed by one textbook for the spring and summer terms.
• Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 have one textbook for each year (reusable)
• Homework activities are provided for pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. These are published as Homework books, one for each term.

For teachers:

• There is a Teachers’ Manual for each term of each year group. Manuals include virtually everything for teaching mathematics effectively.
• In addition to detailed lesson-by-lesson materials, there are games, worksheets and card sets, most of which are photocopiable.
• Overhead transparencies are available from Year 2 onwards.
